We have over 300 trained piercers across our 115+ branches, however a select few branches don't offer ear piercing. We are unable to offer ear piercing in Basildon, Basingstoke, Boston, Bury, Camberley, Cambridge, Cardiff, Carmarthen, Chelmsley Wood, Clacton-On-Sea, Cwmbran, Dartford, Evesham, Exeter, Folkestone, Hastings, Hertford, Liverpool, Merthyr Tydfil, Newport, Ramsgate, Reading, Redditch, Slough, Solihull, Staines, Stirling, Stockport, Swansea, Taunton, Telford, Uxbridge, Waltham Cross, Wellingborough, Weston-Super-Mare, Weymouth, Woking, Wrexham and Yeovil.

The actual piercing itself will only take a matter of minutes, however to maintain the highest levels of hygiene we are taking extra cleaning precautions so bear with us while we sanitise the area before and after each ear piercing.

We do also understand that some people can be a little nervous so our piercers will always take the time to make sure that customers are comfortable. This means the whole visit should take no longer than half an hour. There are however, no real time constraints and our experienced staff will take as long as you need to make sure the person getting their ears pierced is completely happy before carrying out the piercing.

We will not pierce children less than 6 years of age and any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must be able to sign to give their consent. Please note that some of our stores have different age limits for ear piercing so please contact your local branch first.

If you're thinking of having your ears pierced or are researching on behalf of a minor, it's vital you're assured that those carrying out your piercing take every precaution to ensure the risk of infection is minimised.

We only use the latest Studex equipment which comprises a sterile disposable capsule system - this ensures the earrings themselves are not handled by any customers or staff. The Studex Ear Piercing System 75 offers a quiet, gentle piercing for a comfortable piercing experience. With no loud noises, younger customers are not overwhelmed or frightened by the process, however as each branch only has one Studex instrument, we are unable to complete both piercings at the same time. Each lobe will be pierced in quick succession and rest assured that our fully trained piercers are experts at making young customers feel at ease.

Studex is the world's largest supplier of ear piercing equipment. All our piercing branches have been inspected and certificated by local Environmental Health departments to prove they are eligible to pierce. The Studex Ear Piercing System 75 is approved by the Environmental Health Association for use in piercing the lobe and upper flat cartilage area of the ear.

Most stores only offer piercing of the ear lobe, however a select few do offer the service of cartilage piercing (contact the store directly to find this out). The ear must be checked however, as a second or third lobe piercing is subject to space. Our trained staff will also be able to discuss piercing where an old hole has closed up.

We do not pierce other parts of the body such as the nose, eyebrow or belly button due to council licensing laws, however if you have had any of these pierced successfully and healing has completed without any problem, we do stock a wide range of body jewellery which can be found in all stores and online. All earrings are pre-sterilised with no contact for loading prior to piercing which ensures a safe, hygienic piercing. The earrings are also manufactured to FDA medical standards and conform to all international regulations on metal content.
